Tata Nano

Hello all,
Today is the remarkable day for car users especially for middle class and lower middle class community. Tata has planned to handover Nano car's fist key to a mumbaikar. They believe that they can give all 100000 cars by the end of q,2010. This is due to production contraints and they can advance the production to supply more nano cars. Though the car looks nano or even i can say Micro, it is ok for the Middle class and lower middle class audience. A car with the price of 1 lakh and people can easily compare prices with Pulsar or Unicorn, which have the price of 65k and 60k respectively. But nano's performance???? we should wait and see.

Budget and Sensex

Hello All,
Budget and sensex are the two dissimilar characters but one's plus may become the onus of the other's. I came across an interesting article in Hindu about Budget and commonsense. Everyone knew that the sensex had crashed 800 points during budget session. The reason was straightforward " didnt meet the expectation". But anybody understood the important factor like: Presented in budget vs layman's understanding towards the budget. Post budget discussion wont help you in future with this volatile market. Citizens of India should be educated during the budget session itself on what is there for the common man. Will it possible. Yes it should be right..Government should release the parallel budget explanation document or the other choice would be "stop the trading for a day".
After a long time, I have come up with this post but what I did during this time
1. Mourned Michies death
2. Hailed the determination of Fedex
3. Hailed Andy Roddick
4. Became the fan of Zoho.com and Sridhar Vembu
5. Admired cricket in pakistan and pakistan's cricket

Sensex and it is very sensitive index

Hello All,
It was a hot and race session in Mumbai for the past 3 days. In the history of sensex, This was the first time where the sensex closed due to high volatile purchase. Sensex zoomed 2000 points in few hours of trading and market was shut down for the full working day. The reason was the elections where Singhji has formed a stable government for the next five years. Will this trend reduce the slowness in Indian market and especially in the IT industry? My answer is may be. Since the companies have got enough cash inflow for the past 2 days, they may try to invest more in their recent initiatives. But who knows? Any way let us welcome this trend and it will be a good start for Indian future.

Thanks,

The Elections 2009

Hello All,
It was been quite long time to cope up with personal and office works to write a small post. Though this reason looks childish I am unable to find any other reason. Things apart, we all had election and IPL fever (still continuing) this month. Elections - This was the first time in Tamilnadu where we had 70+ percentage of polling and the results outplayed or outsmarted predictions and it was awesome. People voted not for party not for slogan and they voted for reality and they voted for the individual performance. Examples P.Chidambaram and R.Velu. Doing everything for India and Tamilnadu alone was not enough rather you should do something for your own constituency. Another example is TR Balu and another is Vaiko. So democracy is still very much alive and the power is still with a common village person.

Sathyam and Rubber Stamp

Hello All,
After a long long time, I came up with a post that too with the recent so called" Sathyam Saha".....Whenever you win in the race, every one will praise you...When you start loosing the game, every one will start blame you.....That is what exactly happened in Sathyam's case....I heard one road shop fellow comment "One computer shop sathyam is in cheating case"......Gentleman it is not a computer shop or an ordinary store....It was an Era....It was an effort from a village man's son....It was a company which has 185 fortune 500 clients.....What a sudden failure...where the mistake is .....I read an excellent article from outlook business.....It is a comparative study.....I liked one of former cricketer Attapattu's comments about Srilankan cricket board " Full of puppets headed by a Joker".....It is not the same but It happened....Sathyam was all about Top down approach......Board of members were acted as a rubber stamp rather they forced to...Mytas acquisition was the last effort to make sathyam in road...But it was a failure attempt and the big man is now in Jail....I discussed with one of my friend" why all these problems if he sold Sathyam to IBM two months back" ..The answer I got is "Raju's vision was to create Sathyam like IBM".....If he did wrong or not, we need to accept his brave heart on his confession that too from the position of CEO of Sathyam.

Go Green concept

Hello All,
Go Green is the recent Buzz word for Indian economy and especially with IT companies. The idea is termed as one of the key differentiator for the IT companies in competitive market. US companies want to work with the companies which are environment friendly. Hope you all had the possibility to view IBM's recent advertisement on "Go Green " concept. So what is that "Go Green".. Simple...Environment friendly and saving power or energy..U want detail???Here it is.........For companies, 'going green' means taking several steps such as using machines with power-saving mode, using natural light in offices during day time, increasing employee awareness on energy conservation, re-cycling/reusing of packaging material, avoiding use of polythene, reducing consumption of stationery and following LEED norms for construction purpose. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED-INDIA) Green Building Rating System is a globally approved benchmark for green buildings.....So Make ur organization as "Go Green" by taking responsible for the above mentioned activities.
